GROUP BOOKINGS


We offer cinema bookings for groups and fundraising. These bookings are a great way to enjoy a night out with friends and/or raise money for your organisation.

Fundraisers

When organising your fundraiser, there are a few things you need to consider.

* The Capitol Cinema suggests you choose a film that is only one or two weeks in release. Any film in its 3rd, 4th or 5th week of release will no longer be considered a "hot ticket" and you may have difficulties selling tickets.
* You need to give yourself enough time to sell tickets. The Capitol Cinema suggests 2-3 weeks.

Promotional Material

Subject to availability, we can also send you fliers for the film and some other promotional material, like descriptions, summaries and electronic images. Please let us know what you would like and how many.

Session Times

Evening sessions tend to be around 6pm and 8pm. Schedules are completed weekly. While we will always try to accommodate your chosen session time, circumstances and film lengths often dictate exact session time. Therefore, the time printed on your fundraiser ticket may be earlier than the actual session time. For example: if you asked for a 6pm screening, your tickets will have 6pm printed on them, but the session may actually be at 6.15pm or 6.25pm. As soon as the schedule has been completed, The Capitol Cinema will notify you on exact session time.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel your booking, we require 7 days notice or a cancellation fee may be charged.
